(Basic) Bodyguard – Minder

Anyone who has reached a position of influence within the Imperium has generally made a few enemies on the way up. As such, it makes sense for them to hire someone to protect them from assassination attempts. Most are hired strictly for their muscle and their loyalty. They are not particularly proficient in what they do, but they certainly look the part. Nothing deters troublemakers like a pair of thugs (or ogryns) in cheap suits and dark glasses.

And then there are the professionals, people who could be doing other jobs, but have chosen to be bullet shields. These bodyguards are usually highly trained, often with military experience, and possess a near-preternatural ability to spot potential threats and subdue or kill the would-be assassin. However, the psychological state of anyone willing to throw themselves in front of a bullet in exchange for money is questionable.
